How to Choose
a Cruise Package
We offer a package that includes transfers and hotel nights on
the mainland or you can also book the cruise portion only. See
the more detailed descriptions of the packages below. When choosing
a package there are some important things to keep in mind:
Scheduling
Requirments
You
will need to fly from the USA to mainland Ecuador the day before
the scheduled start of the Galapagos program. All flights to the Galapagos Islands leave from
mainland Ecuador in the early morning. In order to catch these
early flights, you will have to arrive in Ecuador the day before
the actual start of the cruise.
You will need
to stay in a hotel on mainland Ecuador the first and the last
nights of your trip. Because most international flights from
the USA arrive in the evening, you will need a hotel night prior
to the flight to the Galapagos Islands. Usually we recommend
that passengers spend the night in Guayaquil. Likewise, after
the cruise you will need a hotel night in order to make the early
morning flights back to the United States. This night we usually
recommend be spent in Quito. We can arrange nights at quite comfortable
and well located hotels in both cities.

includes the Galapagos cruises, all airport transfers and two
nights lodging in a Four Star Hotel in Quito or Guayaquil. This

What's included
in the price?
Prices: Except where otherwise
noted, all prices are per person double occupancy and subject
to change without notice. Payment is by check or wire transfer
only.
Prices Include: Meals on the cruises, transfers as described
in the itineraries, breakfast in any hotels included in the itineraries.
Prices Do Not Include: Galapagos National Park Fees: (around
$100), airport departure taxes; gratuities, excess baggage fees,
items of a personal nature, soft drinks or alcoholic beverages.
These expenses must be paid in cash and US currency is strongly
recommended.
**Single Travelers: Should you be travelling alone and not
require a cabin to yourself, we are often able to find a same
sex roommate to share your cabin which makes you eligible for
the double occupancy cruise rate. Please note that we cannot
find roommates for shared accommodations in the hotels on the
mainland. For those passengers travelling alone who employ the
double occupancy rate on a Galapagos Cruise and will however
be in a single occupancy hotel room before or after the cruise,
there is the additional cost of $55 per hotel night. On the vessels
Eric/ Letty/ Flamingo, single travelers cannot select particular
decks.
*What is a Deluxe Yacht? These yachts are considered "deluxe"
by South American standards. The vessels are spacious and very
comfortable, but since the word "deluxe" is subjective,
if you have concerns about the accommodations, please give us
a call for further information.
