The Republic of Ecuador straddles
its namesake, the equator, and at 110,000 square miles, is around
the size of Great Britain. We operate two basic types of trips
in Ecuador, trips to the Galapagos Islands and visits
into the rainforest on the eastern side of the Andes, in the
Ecuadorian Amazon, to the Oriente Lodge. On this page
below is a description of our trip in the Ecuadorian Amazon.

In Ecuador we
have two basic programs which are often combined, The Galapagos
and the Oriente Lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Both programs
are very well operated and offer the opportunity to observe the
unique wildlife of this equatorial country.
Galapagos is one of the most fantastic nature sites
in this hemisphere. We have vessels departing every week for
this breathtaking nature spectacle. Follow this link directly
to the Galapagos pages.
Oriente
Lodge This
lodge is on the eastern side of the Andes in the lowland rainforest
of the Amazon. There are comfortable lodgings and skilled naturalist
guides to help visitors observe the wildlife of the rainforest.
