Bird, Plant and Animal Lists for Amazonia
There are four different lists on this site. They are sorted differently for different uses. It is very helpful to have a good list with you when you travel into the rainforest. It helps you organize your observations and makes it easier to remember what you've seen. Please copy the lists if you wish, but if you reproduce them in any publication or make more than a single copy, please give attribution to the author listed for each list.

(This list is sorted alphabetically and was compiled on a single trip in central Amazonia, Eastern Amazonia and also some species from the Pantanal)

(This list is sorted by Family Names)
3) Plant List of Scientific and Common Names
(This list is sorted by Family Name)
4) Mammals List of Common Names
(This list is sorted alphabetically and is appended to list Number One)
5) Reptiles and Amphibians List of Common Names
(This list is sorted alphabetically and is appended to list Number One)
